Southwest Chicken and Macaroni Skillet

Ingredients

lb (500 g) lean ground chicken

pkg Hamburger HelperTM Hamburger Helper Chili Macaroni

tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil

can (540 mL) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
3 1/2
cups (875 mL) hot water

cup (250 mL) shredded Cheddar cheese
2
green onions, sliced

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in large skillet set over medium-high heat; cook chicken for about 10 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  2. Stir in beans, hot water, and sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from Hamburger HelperTM pkg); bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  4. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese and green onions.
