Sausage Salisbury Skillet

Ingredients

lb (500 g) mild pork sausage, casings removed

pkg Hamburger HelperTM Salisbury

onion, chopped

cloves garlic, minced

cups (675 mL) hot water

cup (125 mL) milk

cup (125 mL) frozen peas
1/2
cup (125 mL) drained jarred roasted red peppers, chopped

tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

  1. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat; cook sausage, onion, and garlic, breaking up sausage with back of spoon, for 8 to 10 minutes or until browned.
  2. Stir in hot water, milk, and sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from Hamburger HelperTM pkg); bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in peas and roasted red peppers; cook for about 2 minutes or until heated through.
  4. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with parsley.
