pkg Hamburger HelperTM Cheeseburger Macaroni

slices bacon, chopped

lb (125 g) thinly sliced mushrooms

small red onion, sliced

cups (500 mL) milk

cups (325 mL) hot water
1/4
cup (50 mL) smoky barbecue sauce
1
cup (250 mL) halved cherry tomatoes

Preparation

  1. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat; cook beef, bacon, mushrooms and onion for 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is cooked through.
  2. Stir in milk, hot water, sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from Hamburger HelperTM pkg), and barbecue sauce; bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in tomatoes.
